We've been working on a lot of improvements, the first of which is live today. Etacts now supports sign-up with any IMAP account (instead of just Gmail/Google Apps). To sign-up with an IMAP account, please click "Don't have Gmail" on our homepage. As always, feel free to send your thoughts and feedback.

Hey guys, we are sorry if your contacts are taking a long time to import. We are working to fix the problem again, this time once and for all. Our user numbers keep doubling and we need to rearchitect the way we are pulling information to make sure that we can handle all of the load. I will post an update once we are finished speeding everything up again.

Thank you to everyone who wrote on our feedback forum that your contact imports were taking too long, or that parts of the site were slow to load. We believe that we have solved all of these problems, many of which were due to recent traffic surges. Now contact importing should begin within seconds of creating an account and page loads should be quick. Please continue to send feedback to support@etacts.com.
